Kingston Funerals
celebrate and remember a beautiful life
Kingston Funeral was established in 1996 by Bob Newbould. His sole purpose was to assist and support families to properly celebrate and remember a beautiful life.
Over the years, families throughout Melbourne have appreciated the unique level of care offered by Kingston Funerals and so we continue to offer personalised funerals at fair and competitive prices.
The Importance of Funerals
Funerals are important for a number of reasons but mostly it’s important to record and remember the personalities of our great city and honour all that they achieved.
Funerals or memorial services are the perfect place for family and friends to gather and support one another whilst they grieve the loss of their loved one.
Our Venues
Our Chapel is located at 146 Argus Street, Cheltenham and sits 60 people comfortably, offering a reflective garden with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. Our Chapel also provides the perfect place to gather and view your loved one prior to the service or the day/night before the funeral. Additionally, we work with alternative venues, Cemeteries and Crematoria to ensure that you select the right venue for your family.
Our Vehicles
We have a fleet of vehicles to cater for all family needs including a number of mourning coaches. We have recently added a new state of the art hearse to our fleet.
We are committed to updating our fleet on a regular basis to ensure that our clients travel in comfort and style.

Mary
Mary has the important role of keeping the finances of the company on track. Mary enjoys liaising with our suppliers and families with respect to any invoicing queries.

Lea
Key aspects of Lea’s role is to liaise with families in arranging a funeral and also on the day of the funeral as the Conductor. As the Conductor she oversees all aspects at the funeral and is the key person to liaise with the family. Having the opportunity to both plan and conduct the funeral is most rewarding.

Greg
My role isn’t one that everyone aspires to but I consider it a privilege to be in this role. The dignity and respect of the deceased is paramount in everything I do. My aim is to ensure that the last memory that family members has is a positive experience.

Brayden
One of the key aspects of my role that I enjoy is transporting family members on the day of the funeral.

Terry
I enjoy helping families during their time of bereavement. Being a great listener I feel it is critical for me to meet with families to plan an appropriate service and farewell.

Brendan
I consider myself to be an all rounder as I help families organise a funeral, conduct the service or assist on a funeral.
